David Lock Associates is one of the UK’s leading town planning and urban design consultancies. Established in 1988, we now employ over 50 professional staff in our office in Milton Keynes.

The experience of our consultants spans planning and urban design and the related disciplines of architecture, development, landscape and graphic design. We have wide experience gained working for a variety of agencies and organisations both in the UK and overseas.

This strong multi-disciplinary base enables us to offer a complete range of planning and urban design services - from inception through to implementation on the ground. We can help define opportunities, progress them through the planning system and design and manage the detailed proposals for implementation.

Our Directors are actively engaged in planning and design. Our commitment to the highest standards means that senior staff personally undertake or directly supervise all commissions on a day-to-day basis, helping to ensure that high quality outputs are achieved and sustained at all times.

Our clients and their projects are located throughout the UK. We have consultancy experience internationally, including more recently the United States, Australia, France, Ireland, Kuwait and Nigeria.
